Integrated Safety Benefit Estimation tool for 2-wheelers is a project with aim the development of tools for the creation of a database for two wheelers (TW) accidents. The accidents will be stored in the database in the form of numerical simulations. When this database is filled with data it can be used for the evaluation of new protective equipment and safety strategies by virtually testing them with the numerical simulations of real accidents. This project is partially funded through a Career Integration Grant of the Marie Curie Actions of the EU's 7th Framework Program.
